​​    Arising from humble beginnings in Southern Azerbaijan, Haydar Hatemi became one of the most sought after artists of the new era in middle eastern art. His art is deeply inspired by his diverse heritage which stems from the great Ottoman and Persian Empires which ruled his ancestral homeland, Azerbaijan. 

   

     Empress of Persia admired him and honored him with a gold medal. Royalty from the Persian Gulf are patrons of his art and call him a part of their families.
